Simple but very effective way to keep shower door glass clean everytime

CLEANSING PROCEDURE

For shower-door glass with soap scum, hard-water spots, and everyday dirt, this method works well and is safe for most tempered glass:

  1. Mix 30% white vinegar + 70% warm water in a spray bottle.
  2. Spray the glass generously, especially where you see cloudy buildup or water spots.
  3. Let it sit for about 5–10 minutes.
  4. Wipe with a soft microfiber cloth or non-scratch sponge.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water.
  6. Dry the glass with a microfiber cloth, then use a squeegee for a streak-free finish.

For heavier mineral buildup, repeat the process rather than using aggressive chemicals. Avoid steel wool, abrasive scrubbers, scouring powders, and harsh acidic cleaners, because they can scratch the glass or damage protective coatings and hardware.

For ongoing maintenance, squeegee the glass after every shower and do the vinegar-and-water cleaning about once a week. This greatly reduces the white cloudy buildup that makes shower doors look old.
